IMS as partner in „RailTechnoAiEmEs“ consortium has been contracted for the development and implementation of the Bulgarian Train Operations Management System. The overall goal is to ensure an effective and sustainable improvement of the planning and management activities of train movements and capacity in the National Railway Infrastructure Company and the railway services related to these activities, as well as increasing the safety of transport.
The achievement of the general objective will be realized through the following specific objectives corresponding to the activities planned under the project:
• Automation of processes for long-term and short-term planning, dispatch regulation and management and reporting of train operations;
• Connection with the telematics systems for freight transport and passenger services of the trans-European conventional rail system in accordance with the requirements of the technical specifications for interoperability;
• Calculation of infrastructure fees;
• Keeping statistics and preparing data for analysis in National Railway Infrastructure Company;
• Output and automatic update with current data of references depending on the credentials of the users, as well as creating additional ones depending on the level and rights of access to the system.
