Consulting for Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company

IMS provides consulting services for the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company. The subject of the contract is the preparation of a market study, technical analysis and benefit assessment, in connection with the preparation of the project “DISMAR two – Danube Integrated System for MARKing – transport & waterways orientated”.

A feasibility study by IMS experts will be performed on a design and implementation of a system for monitoring and visualization of the water status through sensors in the Danube River basin, managed by the BPIC, integrated into the BulRIS communication infrastructure, which will allow for a quick and adequate response to pollution and will improve the management of water resources in the ports under the management of the BPIC.

Part of the feasibility analyses includes design and building of a LoRaWAN communication network on the existing BulRIS infrastructure, which will allow flexibility in offering services and transferring data from various new generation devices to a centralized point in the building of the RIS Center Ruse. The functional areas with the application of this communication technology are automation and the possibility of connectivity between sensors and other smart devices that are energy efficient.
